If you love me, let me know. If not, please gently let me go.

This is a story between a girl and a boy.

There was a boy.
He was a normal simple boy, living a simple life.
He went school, hung out with friends, played games, and did what a normal boy would do.
He was a nice guy, always care for his friends because he knew the importance of friends in life.

There was a girl.
She was a cheerful active girl, living an enjoyable life.
She went school, socialised, went events, met new friends, and did what a normal girl would do.
She was a happy girl, always enjoying her life.

There was a time when he met her.
They had good feelings for each other.
They started to be friends, and getting closer to each other as days passed.

They sent each other messages, talked about their daily lives, talked about strict teachers in school, laughed about silly things.
They became more than friends.

They have had wonderful times together, enjoyable memories, touching moments.
They have had bad times together, broke up and later coupled up again.
When she was upset, he tried every way to cheer her up.
When he did something wrong, he tried every way to apologise.

He gave her sweet presents and she gave her nice presents.
They hugged, kissed and said the magic three words of love.
They became each others' part of life.

However,
"The hottest love has the coldest end."

One day, he requested a break up with her.
She cried in deep pain.
She leaned in his chest and cried.
Why?
He said he couldn't be with her anymore.

Two weeks passed.
They tried to communicate as friends but they failed.
They blocked each other in every way they could thought of.
He wanted to forget her.
She wanted to forget him.

One month passed.
He couldn't get her out of his mind.
So did she.
She suffered great pain in loneliness.
So did he.
He wanted to carry on his life but he couldn't, not yet.
So did she.

"Pleasure of love lasts but a moment, Pain of love lasts a lifetime."

When will she/he be free of this pain?
Perhaps when she/he truly let go of this never meant-to-be feeling so called love,
Or when she/he found her/his second spring of life?

No one but only she/he knows.

Falling in love is awfully simple, but falling out of love is simply awful.
While some say "never let someone be your everything because when they are gone you have nothing", i prefer " better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all."
