The Floor that doesn't exist.

I am sure that many of you have heard about ghost stories that are about hotels and lifts.
Some are real experiences by someone, while others are rumors.
I've heard about haunted hotel rooms, haunted hotel floor, saw haunted lift CCTV.

Well, this story is about a strange encounter by someone in a hotel.
The hotel is rather famous for being one of the favorite accommodation choices of many foreigners.
I'll just use the name 'Joe' for the person that experienced this incident.

Joe had an vacation or outing with his friends during the school holidays.
They planned on a 2 days 1 night stay at the hotel and a barbecue event on the first night.
And so, they registered and got themselves a room at the highest floor of the hotel - 12th floor.
Wow, that was so lucky for them as they could enjoy the scenic view from their room.
But, of course, it was quite troublesome also, as they had to move all barbecue stuffs from their room to a barbecue ground on the ground floor.

They swam in the swimming pool and even played along the beach during the evening, and they started their barbecue event approximately 8 pm.
They had fun, enjoyed themselves very much.
Everyone was on the barbecue ground, there were 12 of them including Joe.

Time passed and it was already midnight.
Suddenly, Joe wanted to take something from their room. ( I forgot what thing it was)
So, he went alone to the lift and pushed the 'up' button.
When the lift opened, he went into it and when he wanted to push the floor number button, he forgot their room's floor, but he remember it was the highest floor of the building,
and he saw number '13' was the highest floor number that appeared at the panel, so he pushed it.
The lift door closed. And he was the only one in the lift.

And suddenly, he felt strange, because he could remember that when they firstly entered the lift to their room, there was no number '13'!
And so, he waited, the lift was rising, he could feel it.
He waited for awhile, and discovered that the lift was taking too long time to reach 13th floor.
He checked his watch, 3 minutes had passed, it was taking abnormally too long time for a lift to reach 13th floor, and he could still feel that the lift was still rising.

Now, he could felt cold sweats coming from his body, all sorts of bad imaginations surrounding haunted lift appeared in his mind.
He quivered in fear.
He checked his watch again, another 3 minutes passed.
He really was gonna lose his mind.

Suddenly, he remembered he brought his hand phone with him,
so, he tried to call his friend,
the line was connected but he heard nothing on the receiver,
it was a complete silent.
He called for help and even shouted, but still, he heard nothing!
Nothing but in the fact that the line was connected!
He tried few times but it turned out the same absolute silent....
Just when he gave up his hope, the lift door opened....

What he saw was a complete darkness, nothing could be seen, there were absolute nothing outside the door, not even a spark of light.
He shouted as loud as he could and the next thing he could remembered,
he fainted.

The next thing he knew, he found himself inside a hospital.
He was admitted unconsciously into the hospital 3 days ago.
His family was glad to hear that he finally woke up after being unconscious for 3 days.

According to his friends, he was found lying unconsciously on the floor of the lift.
They discovered that he was taking too long time to get his stuff, and few of them received his call but no sound was heard even they tried to ask what was going on.
So, they got worried and went to the lift,
to their surprise, they found the lift door was already opened and Joe was lying on the floor.
They tried to wake him up with all sorts of method including sprinkling some water on his eyes, but he wouldn't wake up.
At last, he was sent to nearby hospital.

After the incident, they never returned to that hotel anymore.
Once, rumors said that the 13th floor was for the deceased, and if you are one of them, they'll welcome you.
So, i guess Joe was lucky not to see anything.

Oh ya, just a reminder, be careful when you are gonna enter any lifts next time, especially when it was late.
